Yoga Day
We started this year off with a fun and restorative yoga session from The Yogi Project. We learnt how to breathe slowly and deliberately to help us to focus and find calm. Then we practised some stretches and balances, called yoga 'postures'. We did a Sun Salutation - our favourites were the hissing cobra and the downwards dog, wagging our tails! We balanced in a steady tree pose and stood tall and strong like mountains. At the end, we lay in a meditative, relaxed posture and melted away in the warm Autumn sunshine. Our teachers said we were very sensible and tried hard to get the most that we could out of the session. Well done us!
